2019 Rule Changes

Mandatory Exhibitors Meeting at 6 p.m. on Weds. June 19!

  • In 2019, ALL livestock exhibitors are required to enter at least one entry into the Still Exhibit department. Applications are due by Friday, May 31 at 6 p.m. 

  • The Code of Conduct must be signed by parents, the exhibitor, and their adviser

  • Auction bio's from exhibitors will not be accepted in 2019 

  • The 2019 BBQ is sponsored by Thermolands Sportsman's Club

  • Marsha Stevens and M & M Ranch are hosting the Buyers Breakfast

  • There is no entry fee for the Primary class of Obedience Dogs

  • Hogs weighing above 285 lbs. will be disqualified from market classes and the Junior Livestock Auction but may remain in Showmanship (State Rule VII,30)

  • Small animals processed at Riella Farms and returned to Roseville Meats or Longhorn for pickup

  • Exhibitors are allowed to remove water and water licks as long as animals are not in pen

  • Receiving Schedule June 19

    • Livestock Health Inspection - Informational email will be sent to Livestock exhibitors as entries close (No animals allowed in barns prior to Health Inspection)

    • Barns Available for Livestock: 6 a.m. to 12 p.m.

    • Livestock Health Inspection (except rabbits and cavies) 6 a.m. to 12 p.m.

    • All Livestock MUST go through Health Inspection before unloading

    • All Livestock MUST be in place after Health Inspection, No Livestock allowed on the grounds after 12 Noon

    • Weigh–Ins: 2 – 5 p.m.

          Lambs        After Beef are finished
          Goats        After Beef are finished
          Rabbits    Small Animal Barn

    • Market Eggs - Informational email will be sent to exhibitors after entries close.

    • Mandatory Exhibitor Meeting at 8 p.m.

  • ​Beef Brand Inspection added on June 21 at 12 p.m. 

  • All swine must originate in validated brucellosis-free herds or areas. If not from a free herd/free area, sexually intact swine more than 4 months of age require a negative brucellosis test within 30 days prior to entry into California.

  • Market Egg Exhibitors

    • Deliver: Thursday, June 20th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Small Animal Barn

    • One dozen eggs in clean egg carton

    • Exhibitors must be present for judging

    • Judging will take place at 12 Noon Thursday, June 20th in the Small Animal Barn
