  • Registration is officially closed!

  • June 19 and 25, 2025, are entry receiving days. Please refer to the Receiving and Judging Schedule for exact dates and times for your category. Any entries turned in early or late will not be accepted.

The Still Exhibits at the fair is a way for members of the community to showcase their talents and compete for prizes with the opportunity to be named Best of Show in each of the individual categories.

 Concert Poster Contest!

Details: 

Poster Requirements:

  • Must be no larger than 11” x 17” and under 15 lbs

  • Must be two-dimensional

  • Must be ready to hang or wired for hanging (anything unsafe won’t be displayed)

  • Must include the text: “Placer County Fair” and “June 26–29”

  • Must be made from materials like wood, cardboard, poster board, paper, or be digitally designed and printed (Sorry, no AI-generated art!)

  • Hand-painted, drawn, or digitally created designs are welcome!

  • A label with the artist’s name and poster title must be attached to the back

Show off your creativity and celebrate the sounds of summer at the Placer County Fair!

We’re calling all artists—painters, illustrators, designers, and dreamers—to create a poster that captures the magic of the fair and our summer concert series. Whether you're into fair food, Ferris wheels, or the beat of live music, we want to see your vision!

Whether you're channeling cotton candy vibes or country guitar riffs, this is your chance to be part of the fair in a creative way. Participants will have their work displayed at the fair, and maybe even bragging rights for next year’s concert series!

A cherished tradition of the Placer County Fair, this exciting competition celebrates poise, personality, and community spirit! Contestants compete for prestigious titles, including Royal Court, Best Interview, Most Photogenic, People's Choice Photogenic, Miss Congeniality, Spirit Award, Community Service Award, and Essay Award.

Tickets are on sale now! make sure to grab them be fore the event they are online only.

  • 265 tickets available (limit of 2 per transaction)

  • $40 per ticket (fair admission and parking not included)

  • Includes 1 rib from each team + a People's Choice vote.

  • Tasting and voting begin at 1:00 pm

How to Play

  1. Look for the Scavenger Hunt logo at each of the 15 checkpoints around the Fair using the provided hints. You can visit them in any order.

  2. When you find the checkpoint, record the codeword on the scavenger hunt form, noting the BOLD letters.

  3. Once all checkpoints are found, submit the form for a chance to win prizes!

You can fill out the scavenger hunt form on this page or get a printout at the Information Booth. Submit completed printout forms at the Information Booth or use the online form below.

 

Win Prizes!

Submit your completed form to be entered into a drawing to win one of the following prizes:

  • Free Lincoln Potters Tickets

  • Free Quarry Park Adventures Passes

  • Free Monster Truck show at the Speedway

Winners will be announced via email the week following the Fair.
